Here you will be able to RSVP for the Learning Lunch, order your lapel, purchase raffle tickets and ask any questions you may have regarding the Learning Lunch or the Expo.
Learning Lunch 11:30-1:00pm
Learning Lunch will precede the Expo Event on Tuesday, October 4 at 11:30pm. Business casual dress is recommended.
The Learning Lunch will be hosted at the Merket Alumni Center and is an informative presentation during lunch.

All Interior Design Faculty, ASID, and IIDA Officers should complete the following information. Submissions must be received by September 30th.
Name badges will be handed out prior to the Learning Lunch and the Expo.

Design Expo 4-6 PM
The Design Expo is Tuesday, October 4th, from 4 PM-6 PM at the Merket Alumni Center. Get there on time to get a free bag!
Dress is business casual and you will be meeting tons of design professionals and learning about their products!

What is the Expo?
The expo is a source to connect design industry professionals with students to educate them about their products.
What do I do at the Expo?
Talk to the vendors! They will want to explain their product to you, so take notes and listen up! There are some pretty interesting things you could include on your future designs. Sometimes vendors will have brochures or even samples to hand out and those can be great resources. Many of the Interior Design graduates now work for the companies that participate in Expo, so you never know when you might be making a connection. And on that note, bring a couple copies of your resume and your portfolio if you have one!
Why should I go?
Other than the reasons mentioned above, Expo is a lot of fun and you get to meet a lot of people in the design field.
Last year the Texas Chapter of ASID raffled three $250 Scholarships, other vendors brought side tables, fabulous bags, and other cool items. So come, meet people, and have a great time!

Purchase as many tickets as you like and you'll be able to pick up your raffle tickets at the door. All proceeds go to a children's charity in Lubbock, Texas.
